While most of this 2,500-square-mile state is heavily
populated, there are a number of state parks to get lost in. Plus, there
are a number of coastal beaches that are open to the public, making aquatic
adventures from deep sea fishing to boating a huge attraction here.
While Delaware does have its fair share of outdoor activities, its
main attraction is its proximity to exciting cities, like Baltimore,
New York, Philadelphia and Washington D.C. For adventurers looking for
a good New England time, Delaware provides a strong starting point.
