Mostly rural, Kentucky is another hotspot for military and history buffs. But as far as environment, Kentucky offers up a sampling of just about everything.

There is the legendary bluegrass region, as well as the Appalachian Mountains, the Daniel Boone National Forest, limestone beds, caves that make for excellent spelunking, rivers and lakes and some of the country's most gorgeous waterfalls.

Kentucky does its best to offer a taste of the natural majesty of the United States.
